The Bush administration had failures and successes. Its failures include overspending and massive increases in the size and scope of the Federal Government, all of these which, by the way, Obama has dwarfed within just his first year in the office. One of Bush's successes, for example, was eventual victory in the Iraq war.
Well if you are unaware, Biden recently made this statement on Larry King Live, "I am very optimistic about Iraq," he said. "I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration." The comment you just read is absurd and idiotic. The victory in Iraq was a great achievement accomplished by Bush and his administration, and, unless they are successful in rewriting history, every future American will hold that fact as common knowledge.

Throughout the 2008 election cycle we saw men and women praise Obama to the extreme. They touted that their "gas tanks would be filled" and their "mortgages paid." This weird belief of fairytale gas gods and magic mortgage mages was idiotic at best. However, on some level Obama began to believe the hyperbole the American people were throwing his way. The press didn't touch him, his followers loved him, and it's safe to assume that B. Hussein Obama hasn't suffered from lack of confidence.
His beliefs in himself have carried over to the presidency. If you want proof of his arrogance, look no further than his actions and tone. It might be the fact that he has chosen to give himself "a good, solid B-plus" on his presidential performance. This leaves me to wonder what the allah a good, solid F might look like. It might be the fact that he disrespects the Oval Office by tossing a football to and fro or putting his feet upon the resolute desk. It might be the fact that on the heels of the Massachusetts (Martha, take note on my spelling, please) election he said, "Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me." His arrogance, you would agree, is astounding. Obama believes he personally can save the liberals in the house and the senate even in the face of his plummeting popularity numbers.
You would think Obama would get the message the American people are sending. However, the message against BIG GOVERNMENT will never be received when you have people as hard headed as Howard Dean who said, "This is not, contrary to what a lot of American pundits are talking about, this is not a revolt of the Right. This is Barack Obama's core base not thinking that we've done what he was asked to do." I can define that kind of reaction, together with Chris Matthews, only in this way: "That's crazy!" Scott Brown promised, time and again, to be the "41st vote" against socialized healthcare, the same policy that the left-wing loons have tried to jam down the American peoples' throat for more than half a century. The left's talking heads would have you believe that the election of Scott Brown was not a referendum, but rather an encouragement package from Barack's loving base.

Global Warming Fraud — Gore publicly humiliated and the liberal progressives shamed... this should be fun.
"Finally, efforts are being made by the founder of the Weather Channel, John Coleman, to sue Al Gore and his cohorts for perpetrating “the greatest scam in history” — the fraud of global warming. Thirty thousand others, comprised of scientists and experts, are also willing to join in that lawsuit.
So how did this fraud all get started? It all started in Chicago shortly after Earth Day, April 17, 1995, when Al Gore went to Fall River, Mass., to give his green sermon speech. He was soon joined by Maurice Strong and Peter Knight, a registered lobbyist and Gore’s former top Senate aid.
It didn’t take long before the Chicago Climate Exchange was formed and “a veritable rat’s nest of cronyism” was formed. The largest shareholder in the Exchange is Goldman Sachs, and Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley is its honorary chairman. The Joyce Foundation, which funded the Exchange, also funded money for John Ayers’ Chicago School Initiative. John is the brother of William Ayers who was one of the founders of the Weathermen.
Obama, at the time, was active in this scam and knew darn well what was going on, but three years later that did not stop him from funding these leaders in the man-made global warming movement. The first attempt to improve the environment was a grant of more than $25 million in U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for research and development. That turned out to be a failure, so they were awarded another $8 million in federal taxpayer’s cash. That, too, was a failure. Present major funding is courtesy of Edward Rothschild’s World Bank."
We need to remember that John Coleman has been threatening to sue since 2008. However, it looks as if a motion to file might just be in the works.

Jan 5, 2010 Recently a video launched via youtube called, "America Rising: An Open Letter to Democrat Politicians."
The video reminds you of the scenario and political landscape of '08. In that blessed year the American people were fed up with politics as usual. The American people craved something new. They wanted something that would make the world a little better. Unfortunately, they bought into the empty promises of an egomaniac.
"Hope" and "change" were the words that propelled the liberal ascendancy into the congress, the senate, and the presidency itself. However, the American people are now asking the question that should have been asked in 2008, "What kind of hope and change are we buying into?" There are numerous things worth changing in our current government. Fortunately, the changes Obama desires for this nation doesn't quite match that of the American people. The American people want a transparent government. Obama wants the illusion of transparency. The American people want responsible government intervention. Obama wants complete control of every American industry. The American people want health reform that will lower cost and increase the standard of care. Obama seeks to increase the size and scope of the federal government by taking over our health care industry. The American people want fiscal responsibility. Obama wants you to believe he seeks to balance a budget while spending like Paris Hilton on a binger.
It is time for the American Rising!

There is often a comparison drawn between Barack Obama and Robin Hood. This comparison, I believe, is not only foolish, but just down right idiotic. Robin Hood is a hero from old English folklore. Obama is a modern day statist. Robin Hood is known for "robbing from the rich and giving to the poor." Obama is known for robbing from the American people, transferring wealth from the private to the government sector, and consolidating power for himself and his Washington cronies. The folklore that follows Robin Hood is of valor and honor whereas Obama is known for being a destructive force against freedom and liberty.
With the limited knowledge I have about Robin Hood (most based on a few poems, Wikipedia, and a BBC series called "Robin Hood"), I have come to the conclusion that his beliefs would aline much more with that of a conservative than that of a lowly statist. Robin Hood had become fed up with the actions of his Sheriff. The Sheriff had levied so many taxes upon Nottingham and the surrounding areas that the people couldn't afford to even feed themselves. The taxes were suffocating the people. It resembles even our fight for independence. Our founders fought against an overbearing destabilizing state much like what Robin Hood was said to have fought. Robin Hood took from those who took too much. He didn't take because they had. He took because they were forcing so much taxation upon the surfs that the men and women were dying of starvation. Conservatives, not statists are the ones who fight excessive taxation.
Now, on to the man of the hour. The man whom conservatives for some dumb reason choose to compare to Robin Hood. Barack Obama hates this country and hates what we believe and the things we stand for. Obama seeks to tax freedom to death. Obama seeks to enslave us under the strong arm of the government. He's not Robin Hood. He is but the lowly sheriff who seeks to destroy us by choking our freedom.

Dec 21, 2009 It’s been said so many times, but in this case congressional Democrats are certainly winning a battle, but at a substantial long term cost in the overall war for the soul of the United States Government. Like George W. Bush, whose perceived idealism and unilateralism all but guaranteed the election of the Democratic presidential nominee in 2008, so are the tactics of the Obama Administration and congressional Democrats.
Despite the plethora of polls indicating mainstream America’s opposition to recent House and Senate healthcare reform proposals, along with mounting concern over growing deficits, foreign borrowing, and the prospect of huge new taxes, congressional Democrats are perched atop the precipice of their self proclaimed historic moment, poised to enact sweeping new healthcare reform legislation. But with so many Democrats at risk of losing reelection, the party has pushed on with this unpopular legislation. Even Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) faces a challenge in his home state from two credible Republicans, Danny Tarkanian and Sue Lowden. Some Democrats may have nothing to lose. Ben Nelson, who recently held out in the Senate for better restrictions on government funding of abortions, finally struck a deal for hundreds of millions in federal Medicaid funding. Nelson, who ultimately never got his abortion restrictions, may choose not to run for reelection, but with Nebraska voters in opposition to the Democrats’ reform package to the tune of 75%, imagine the difficulties facing any Democrat angling for that seat. These are only two of the many Senate, not to mention House, seats put in jeopardy by Democratic healthcare reform strategies.
Add to these concerns the fact that healthcare reform taxes, cuts, or financial burdens, will kick in 3-4 years before the benefits, and there is clearly runway for backlash against a costly Democrat healthcare reform bill. The last straw could very well be the process by which the legislation has been fostered along in the House and Senate. Although many hearings and amendments were entertained in committees, the resulting bills were crafted more or less behind locked doors by Democratic legislators, staffers, and time will tell who else. The result was a party line vote in the Senate, and very closely the same in the House. Many Americans who favor healthcare reform, including a majority of Republicans and a growing number of Independents, seem to be disappointed at the spectacle of House and Senate maneuvers to produce bills that, in the end, leave out many opportunities such as malpractice litigation reform, and the opening of private interstate health insurance markets.
So we have to ask, why would a party be so shortsighted? Why would Democrats use so much ammunition on this battle alone, putting their House and Senate majorities- and the White House- in jeopardy for 2010 and 2012 elections? Why are Democrats committing the political sins of the Bush Administration, orchestrating their own downfall? Why are they invoking the name of Ted Kennedy, who despite adoration for the Kennedy family remains a controversial figure for many Americans? Why is the Obama Administration taking on incrementally all but a narrow sliver of its political base? Why does the President seem bent on breaking the two commitments that arguably got him elected: transparency and bipartisanship? We’ll dig deeper into these questions as we continue in this series.

Dec 11, 2009 One thing that the coronation of the "Chosen One" as King of the United States (Garfield Goose would be proud) has accomplished is an energizing of interest in viable alternatives to the current "Two Party" system. To say that people are upset with both parties is an understatement. It becomes more and more apparent that members on both sides of the aisle have become so bumptious that any semblance of our representatives actually representing us is purely coincidental.
Which brings us to today's subject; Is a third party the answer? (Sarah Palin's name has been brandied about as the apparent leader of such a movement. More on that later) Proponents and opponents have one thing in common: Make sure Obama is a one-term president. Those who favor the movement say it's time to re-take the White House, while those who oppose it say all it will do is split the conservative vote and get the "Chosen One" re-elected.
First and foremost, we need to fire the current congress, and we get that opportunity in less than a year. The Founding Fathers were smart enough to know that we needed an opportunity to replace the members of the "Lower House" frequently. They also knew that the Senate should be elected by the the by the lower house, but the 17th Amendment started the erosion of the Republic (not democracy) that the constitution had established. For those who want term limits, I say we already have term limits, they're called the BALLOT BOX. If we don't succeed in replacing these turgid bureaucrats, it might be time to look for an island to call home.
It may be in these local elections that a 3rd party could emerge. Look what almost happened in New York's 23rd district. On the other hand, because of the importance of replacing the incumbant idiots, maybe it would be best to wait until the 2012 presidential election. That would give time for fund-raising and actually fielding the best possible candidates. I cannot stress enough how important it is replacing congress in 2010. If these clowns are not replaced, third party or not, we're heading towards losing the country we know and love.
And if we are successful in replacing congress in 2010, who cares if we split the vote in 2012? If a viable 3rd party is born, one that scares the daylight of all the current members of the current "Two Parties" it could be the return of our country being "of the people, for the people". As long as we have a congress that is listening to us and actually representing us, I wouldn't care if Obama was re-elected. That's the beauty of the checks and balances provided to us in the Constitution.
The only drawback to a second term for Obwowow would be Supreme Court and other justice nominations. The courts are an important part of the checks and balances and having justices who properly interpret the constitution is critical to our remaining the great country our Founding Fathers created. Again, 2010 is critical. The right congress could keep socialist leaning justices from being approved.
In "To "3" or not to "3" Part 2 I'll go deeper into the logistics of a third party. For now, I'd love to get YOUR thoughts on whether to 3 or not to 3.

Nov 30, 2009 After contemplating over the game of chess and the insights it may provide us about big government, I now know precisely how important Barack is to liberalism and the big government movement. He is the rook. In a chess game the rook is the third most valuable player, right behind the queen and king. The king is big government. Once the king is defeated the game is over. The queen is liberalism. It is the very thing that propels big government forward and protects the big government from attack. However, there is yet another crucial player in this game. It is the rook, or in the case of big government, the president who helps liberalism advance wherever and whenever he can--by using the bully pulpit. Unfortunately for the rook, and the president, they are not above sacrifice.
In our current socialized healthcare debate many liberal pawns will be sacrificed in 2010 for the "greater good." These pawns are the blue dogs. Think of it this way: the pawns are in the front lines, they can be attacked from any direction. They are the first to be sacrificed in any attempt at a move forward. That push is healthcare. If socialized healthcare is passed, then big government wins. There is nothing that the other player can do, no matter how many pawns are removed from play. If socialized healthcare passes, that spells death for the other player.
The way I see it, the rook has now become just another pawn for the king and queen. The rook is now a means to an end. If the rook is removed from battle by the other team, but during his time socialized healthcare passed, he has done his duty and served his purpose.
The big government movement has grown impatient. They have waited and waited for the day when liberty bows in the face of tyranny. And since that has yet to happen, they have become willing to make one final play--to give up the rook, that is Barack, in order to establish tyranny.
